Exam Fees
Examinees over the age of 18: $12, due before the exam begins
Examinees age 18 and under: $5, due before the exam begins
Retakes (if time allows): $12 for everyone, regardless of age
FCC License Fee
A $35 fee is owed to the FCC, payable on their website, when a new license is issued.
Parents or guardians of examinees 18 and under who become newly licensed through an exam session given by W4VEC will be reimbursed the $35 FCC fee. Reimbursement is sent after the FCC issues the callsign. Please speak to the VE Team adminstering the exam to learn more.
